Oceanside divorce lawyers of Fischer & Van Thiel, LLP are pleased to announce Super Bowl XLVI this Sunday.

On Sunday in Indianapolis, the New York Giants will battle the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI.  Sunday’s game is the second matchup for both teams who played each other at the Super Bowl in 2008.  The Giants beat the Patriots in their last Super Bowl tarnishing the Patriot’s 18-0 record that season.

New England Patriot’s head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady are making their fifth Super Bowl appearance together in 11 seasons.  That is a record for a coach-quarterback duo.

The game is held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, and it will begin at 6:30pm EST.  Tune in to NBC.  For more information on the game, visit the Super Bowl website.

Supermodel Heidi Klum and her husband of seven years, Seal, have decided to separate.

Seal, who is a four time Grammy Award winner, made appearances on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “Tavis Smiley” over the past few days to promote his upcoming album, Soul 2.  He was very candid about the couple’s situation, stating, “She is still, in my opinion, the most wonderful woman in the world…I think our priority was to remain civil and do this thing with dignity. We still very much love each other.”

The couple has not moved forward with a divorce, and it is still unclear as to why they decided to split.  They have four children ages 2 to 7.5.

After speculation that journalist and former first lady of California, Maria Shriver, 56, wanted to reconcile her marriage with Arnold Schwarzenegger, she is still moving forward with the divorce, according to the New York Daily News.

Shriver filed for divorce on July 1 when reports revealed that Schwarzenegger had a son with the family’s housekeeper, Mildred Baena, in 1997.  The truth was revealed when Shriver confronted Baena in December 2010 about how much Baena’s son resembled Schwarzenegger.

Shriver bought a home in Brentwood, California and went back to her career in journalism.

San Diego Chargers bring back Turner and Smith

Posted on January 5th, 2012 No Comments

Oceanside divorce attorneys of Fischer & Van Thiel, LLP are excited to announce the San Diego Chargers coach Norv Turner and general manager T.J. Smith will be back next season to lead the team again.

Many fans were unhappy with this decision, and Chargers president Dean Spanos discussed how keeping Turner and Smith will keep stability amongst the team and give them their best shot at going to the Super Bowl next year.

Quarterback, Philip Rivers, states, “The longer you keep that continuity and that consistency together, I think it’s proven to win out over time. You look at years’ past in Pittsburgh when they held that together with [Bill] Cowher for all those years. Over time it got done. You got to stick with it and that’s why I’m excited: to stick with it. Because there’s been plenty of 8-8 teams that have bounced back the next year and won it all.”
